Nisha is a senior in the College of Engineering, majoring in Computer Science. She has always had a passion for tech and how it can be used to solve issues in the world, especially related to environmental issues. She is excited to contribute to CSK's mission to empower women in STEM. When she's not studying, she enjoys painting portraits, playing piano, and dancing.

Ava is a senior in the College of Engineering, majoring in Aerospace Engineering and minoring in Math. Prior to CSK, she didn't have any coding experience, but the program gave her the confidence to take on EECS courses and projects with ease. Through CSK, Ava met an amazing group of motivated peers who have supported her and become some of her closest friends. In her free time, Ava loves reading, traveling, and building things.

Ally is a senior in the College of Engineering, majoring in Biomedical Engineering and planning on minoring in Data Science. Ally believes that tech is extremely interdisciplinary, and that diverse interests can be integrated into both programming and tech at large. She believes that CSK is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity and had a lot of fun with her cohort. Outside of academics, Ally loves to play piano and listen to music in all genres and languages.

Julia is a junior in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, majoring in Psychology and planning on minoring in Computer Science. Julia believes that experience in tech can be beneficial in every industry. She is excited to make camp week as fun and engaging as hers! In her free time, Julia enjoys playing tennis, drawing on her iPad, and posting food reviews!

Dema is a junior in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, majoring in Neuroscience with plans to double minor in Computer Science and French. Passionate about diversity in tech, she believes that CSK is a fun and engaging introduction to coding, and she truly enjoyed her camp week! In her free time, Dema loves attempting new recipes, traveling, and playing tennis!

Ashni is a junior in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts, double majoring in Astrophysics and Math. Ashni believes that more women should be encouraged to join the tech field and have a supportive environment to explore it. She loved her camp week and can't wait to make it as enjoyable for the new campers! In her free time, Ashni loves solving puzzles, figure skating and dancing!

Claudia hadn't had the chance to learn how to code before CSK, but camp made her realize that she wanted to pursue a career in tech too. She believes tech should be accessible to all and is excited to support CSK’s mission to empower women in STEM. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, traveling and reading!

She was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful friends during her camp week and is so excited to have a part in making new students feel welcome and belonging in STEM. Silvia is a sophomore in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience, with plans to double minor in Biology and French. She is excited to give those underrepresented in tech an opportunity to explore the field in a fun, low-stress environment like CSK. Camp week was a highlight of her first year at Michigan, and she hopes to bring the same experience to others! In her free time, Silvia loves long walks in the Nichols Arboretum, reading, playing pickleball, and traveling.

Adebay is a sophomore in the School of Information, majoring in User Experience Design and minoring in Art & Design and Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. After participating in CS KickStart during her camp week, Adebay is excited to give back and support the next cohort of students, especially by helping foster a more inclusive and welcoming space in tech. Outside of academics, she enjoys practicing classical ballet, drawing, and singing.
